History

The office was established in 1994. Adron Beene had worked at Atari Corporation since 1985, starting as a part-time law clerk and ending up Vice President Legal Department and Secretary. During his work at Atari, Adron Beene was involved in the turnaround efforts that eventually lead to Atari's successful initial public offering. This was a time of extensive litigation over leases, licenses and vendor claims, as well as collection claims on behalf of Atari. By the late 80s, Mr. Beene was also involved in software license agreements, business contracts and personnel issues. Once Atari merged with The Federated Group, Inc., that meant that Atari had about 60 retail consumer electronics stores that were eventually closed. This involved selling part of the leases to a third party and resolving the remaining vendor and lease obligations. By 1994, Adron Beene decided to diversify his client base from one client to the many for whom he now provides services.

The practice has evolved to representing a number of technology companies and several private companies involved in real estate.
